How to Make Spiced Wine

This is a great winter drinking alternative to hot toddy's and brandy



Spiced Wine

1 bottle of red wine (can even be an inexpensive brand)

1 Tablespoon cardamom

3 cinnamon stick

1 tsp whole cloves

1/2 orange or lemon peel

honey (or other sweetener)

Heat, do not boil! The ingredients are really to taste, so play around with them. Otherwise, you can either add all the ingredients as is, then sieve, or add them to a cloth teabag. After heating, let it steep for about 30 minutes. Serve warm in a mg with a thin slice of lemon and a cinnamon stick
